I was soooooooooooooooooo tired of xms n classes…….at the afternoon….after the act202 xm…..i went to my frinds place…….hebbi moja korlam….we played pool…addafying was there….nd den at night…..we started playing…..yah……u guessed it r8……..twenty-9……..

wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii……..jei moja hoiseeeeee………..hebbi mojaaaaaaaa…………we started playing at around 10pm……nd believe it or not……we went to sleep at around 7am………and till then we were playing twenty-9………had a lucky night……hahahhaa…….dui bar jitsi……..thanks 2 nakib for the treat……..arekdin eirokom aashor boshai dite hobe………wi wi wi….moda moda….

Most of the time….. my desktop is messed up…specially when m busy wid works….but a few days ago, i re partitioned my hard disk……i had a new beginging :p……nd dats wat uve got……a simple looking desktop

Actually this was the first morning of Shillong for us. We woke up at around 9 am, got ready and then went out n had breakfast, of course the menu was Indian . Then we went to the state bank of India for exchanging dollars against rupees. After that, we were looking for a taxi, and just then we found our friend, philosopher n guide…..Sonup Roy, A young local taxi driver, who was with us for the rest of the days. He a had cute red tata indico cab, with a very good sound system….hahah….man we enjoyed riding his cab.

Newayz, lets moce on, it was about 12.30 when we reached our first local tourist spot….the elephant falls…… 12 kms on the outskirts of the city the mountain stream descends through two successive falls set . A well paved footpath and a small wooden bridge connect to two smaller falls which areequally beautiful and captivating. These are the Wei Iaplam Falls and the Wir Phang Falls. We just loved the view of it.

Next we went to the Shillong peak…… 1965 metres above sea level and 10 kms from the city, offers a panoramic view of entire Shillong, and is also the highest point in the State. This place was the most beautiful one, at least for me, ahhh….just cudnt manage enough scope for a second visit there…….

After that, there was Lady Hydri park…… stretching over a km is replete with roses and blossoms of exquisite hues and colors. Owes its existence to Lady Hydari, the wife of an erstwhile Governor of Assam. It has an excellent mini zoo cum deer park.

Next we moved on to Don Bosco church…..A mega sized and beautiful catholic church…..

Later, it was Ward’s Lake: A century old picturesque lake. Located in the heart of the city, popular for short garden walks and boating. The local people however prefer to call it Nan Polok (Polok’s Lake) after an executive engineer named Mr. Pollock. We did a lil boating there…….it was fun…heheheh…..

Then we went to Shillong Golf Course, which is considered to be the “Glen-eagle of the East” at the United States Golf Association Museum. It was set in a valley at an altitude of 5200 ft in 1898 as a 9 (nine)hole course and later converted into a 18 (eighteen) hole course in 1924 by Captain Jackson and C. K. Rhodes. We didn’t like it that much….but it was ok though……

Finally, It was BadaPani…. Developed upon the mighty reservoir of the Umiam Hydro Electric Project, at Umiam, 16 kilometres beforereaching Shillong. The campus consists of a beautiful Orchid Lake Resort, the Nehru Park. Besides it offers a wide choice of exciting water sports activities….we didn’t see all of it, but the reservoir alone was enough for us…..we looooooooooved that place….btw…..we also loved the view from the dam of the project……

1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7………wow! we visited 7 spots in a single day….hahhaha…..dat was fun…..we really enjoyed our time throughout the day…….it was about 6.30 when reached the hotel…..and then…..dinner….balcony party….29……..chit chating…..and ghuuuuuuuuuuuum…..

End of Day 2! was fun…….:D

The day was like..ummm….in Bangla, we call it ‘vapsha gumot gorom’. Me n my 4 friends Sakib, Jewel, Mustaq n Akhlak started for shillong, the hilly capital city of meghalaya state. We were late already and lil mishaps caused more delay, but finally we reached tamabil border…… after the imigration was over….. for the first time of my life i stepped into another country . I though it wud take a hell of a mess 2 complete the imigration, but was q8 easy….on both sides……..the actual problem we faced was the problem of transportation from dawki to shilong. Taxi drivers were not so helpful……we payed a lil higher then the usual rate……and sumhow managed to squeeze ourselves in a maruti suzuki 800.

How was the journey?

Awsome! The views were simply breathtaking……..the road goes all the way climbing to 6000 feet (approx.) and we cud feel the clouds in our hands…..god that felt so good……

It took us almost 4 hours to reach Shillong……without ne stoppage. The hotel we stayed in was Broadway, fikz……….guess wat….the manager was a sylheti guy……i made a call 2 dhaka….told popsi dat i reached safely……climbed the stairs…..entered the room……..bang!……day 1 is over.(i don wanna mention the balcony party and trip 2 hotel radhuni :p)

My semester is not going quite as i expected….. fin n accounting seems much more harder……not harder actually…….. but confuzing n lengthy n boring…… lets hope for that i escape with a b+ avg…… allahi dibo……

i had a 21 day long class schedule without ne breaks…… aamar jan tita koira falaise nsu….. from 1 to 21st june …..everyday i had classes or mid……

My monitor was givin me trouble,so i had 2 change it, my cellphone was nearly smashed, i had 2 get out of mdm’s class cuz i didnt have ne calculator(funny part is i carry 1 in my bag every day n just on that thay my calculator got banged…..i even took money from mom for buying a new 1), xms r going frustrating, with a busy schedule….nd heavy workload of CC….i had 2 design 6 banners,1 poster n an invitation card….horrible horrible……and above all……i think i am having the weirdest kind of feeling in since the day i started to felt……ghor khulia bahir hoia josona dhorte jai…hat vorti chander aalo dhorte gele nai…..ami eivabei jochonar kache jaite partesi na……jaukga…….allai dibo

I was doing ratio analysis in my fin254 midterm….nd my friend imran was continuously calling me, as i was already late. I hurried to finish it up.I went running to the front of sher plaza where my friends were waiting for me, after a lil bitta gailmondo…….we started for ashulia…….thats how it all started……

Me, nd my friends was on the car of out senior vai, the one n only raju vai(was our driver :p)….woh ajnabee woh ajnabee n we r shouting n dancing inside the car…man we were having loads of fun……it took a while to reach ashulia…..we got off the car…..did a lil photo session :p…….nd then we went on to hunt some foods…..

We found Fuchka, Tea and of course Single Sundae n Cornelli…heh heh………we were chitchatting after eating, and without a seconds notice, it started raining heavily. We rushed for the car, when we got inside the car, we noticed that Apu wasn’t with us. Apu, who was having his 2nd plate of fuchka……could not run cuz he was eating…..hi hi…….ekkbare kak veja hoye aasche ek2 pore…….

Then we did a lil more chitchat nd on the way back…….oh god…..the most enjoyable part…..the convo b2n raju vai n apu….hahahha…..”driver er beton kat”…..

We all reached my home………….did a lil ’shongeet shadhona’………then they left…….. bohot majah aaya……. btw raju vai……if ur reading this…..u owe me 60 tk……

PC stands for personal computer………i would rather say polite company…….gives u company all the time :p

I do, and i really do love my PC, when i am in dhaka, i spend most of my times with it, and thats why i thouth i shud wr8 sumthin about my pc.

Well… It has 3 giga P4 HT processor, intel 915gav mb, with 1 gb ddr2 ram, nvidia geforce 6800 256 mb agp,80 gb sata hdd and a built in sound card, and yes….. 17″ samsung tft lcd monitor

lets add the peripherals: modem, micronet nic, avermedia tv card, asus dvd rom, sony dvd rw, 2:1 speakers ….i think thats all.

Its fast.It really is fast, to me at least. maybe not hardcore, but i do play lots of games, and till now its giving me satisfactory(most of the time:more then satisfactory) performance, and just beacuse of that, i go lil freaky when it comes to agp card, nvidia 6800 agp wid 256mb onboard ram is delivering me the performance i want and need

and ofcourse, photoshop cs2, i do play with this software also, and guess what, when you are working with a 96″*48″ canvas with 100+ layers on it, it takes some performance to get the job done….nd my pc delivers that performance…..

Im not a big freak abour sound……my lil 2:1 spekers n built in sound card is good enough for me…….

I love my mouse and keyboard……..(so user friendly) :p and my printer lexmark z517…….thanks buddy….ur makin my life easier
